It is official. Here is my Gold Medal for my participation in the 2010 Knitting Olympics, I also received a pretty nifty certificate, which if I didn't think was too dorky I may just frame & hang it in my library for everyone to see.
On Stephanie Pearl-McPee's website "The Yarn Harlot" (organizer extraordinaire of the Knitting Olympics) she has a list of all 2000 + participants and links to their projects. Its amazing how many talented knitters there are. I may have to work on my knitting skills and in 4 years commit to knitting an adult sweater for the games.
